Thank you guys for the replies to my question. The Audio Technica ATH-AD700 seem to best fit my needs. I only have one more question: Are any amps ideal (or needed) for these headphones? Or can I plug them straight into my computer and be good to go?

Oh, so there's a recommendation thread? That's nice.   I'm looking for a large pair of full-sized headphones for around 100$ with a large sound stage, (preferably) very comfortable, and a balanced sound as opposed to a bassier sound. I've never bought a really good pair of headphones before...
