    For the love of God...

Try accessing the computer by using its IP address (\\"IP address") under Run or in Explorer. Might be the integrated firewall also, turn it off and check the exceptions-tab. Windows XP is kinda slow on updating network connections.

Recent Albums that have absolutley Blown You Away?

Sigh - Gallows Gallery A somewhat psychadelic mushroomtrip "tribute" to 70-80's metal from Japan's most known Avantgarde/Blackmetal band It's just pure energy from start to end, with a short break with "The Tranquilizer Song". Excellent guitarriffs and solos, even awesome organ solos...

    Headphones for Power Metal

New MS1 or used SR225. Need something to keep up with Thomen Stauch's fast paced drumming and bring Hansi Kürsch's voice to the front. And there's nothing like guitar played through Grados

Revolting sounding ingredients but tasty.. List your revolting sounding dish here!

Here in Norway we have a dish called Smalahove, it's the head of the sheep. Never eaten it nor will I, just the thought of looking into the eyes of the sheep while you eat it.... maybe that's the reason they eat the eyes first http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smalahove Some also eat moose...

    Good metal without death vocals...

How about some Mercyful Fate? Their singer, King Diamond, sings like the counterpart of death vocals at times Excellent metal nonetheless. Check out their Melissa album. And if you're going to give Megadeth another chance, try listening to the Youthanasia album, very easy to get into and...

    PX200 alternative? ATH-FC7, ATH-FC5, AKG K24P, Pioneer SE-F3, Sony A115SP, KTX-Pro???

I use the FC7 as my main portable headphone and I really like how it sounds from my iPod mini, can't complain about the comfort either. Sound: - They have a good amount of bass, but not overpowering. - The mids are somewhat recesed, a little hollow. - Not much to say about the highs, comfy...

Is it worth it to amp ATH-FC7 + iPod?

IMO there's no significant benefit with amping the FC7, I'd rather spend the extra cash on music or head up another level on the headphone ladder. I use the FC7 with my iPod mini and I'm quite satisfied with its performance. I do notice a slight difference when amping them with my Millett...

    Millet Hybrid Construction Thread

According to BrokenEnglish the mascots lack some reversed biased protection diodes, that could help them coming up when there's a lot of capacitance in the amp. Use the Mascot 2083 myself and own the 2183 which is 1A, I find no difference between them with the Hybrid. So there's no point in...
