I have an old iPod Mini Firewire AC adapter and wonder if I can use it with the new iPod Classic? I have read of other people successfully using this charger with the 5.5G iPod. Because Frirewire and USB are different and supply different voltages how is this AC adapter compatible and safe to use?

Did your classic come with a slip case? I think I see it resting on one but had heard Apple no longer supplied these with the classic.

Do the tips stay attached to your UM1/UM2s when you pull them out? From what I have seen of them, they dont look all that well secured tro the drivers.

Looking at www.soundblaster.com I see the X-Fi Pro has a higher SNR 116dB compared to the Fatal1ty 109dB. Both cards have Xram so no difference there.
