Hmm my soloist GT is the one without the new power module things so its beyond me im afraid. Try sending an email to burson if you havent already. They helped me figure out it was my problem was a faulty supercharger, so maybe they can do the same for you.

Could be your supercharger went bad I had similar issue when mine did. Seems odd it would happen when changing op amps. Any chance you plugged one of the op amps in backwards and possibly blew a fuse if there is one in the power supply?

From looking at my board and the new one i can spot several differences but not sure if any would be audible

Yeah its mostly the new ability to accept future possible hardware upgrades that mine will miss out on. But yeah always something better.

The part I hate the most is the new version has connecters for future upgrades that our old version just does not have :(

I have been very curious about the sub out especially with the svs 3000 micro since you can control it all through an app on your phone. That would definitely make it easier to balance the volume with your headphone volume.

Not the Elite but I have the regular Empyreans and they sound amazing on the GT with op amps rolled. SS2590 input buffer, SIL 994s at volume control, and V6 Vivids at Voltage.

I agree the pin protectors will make the job safer and less stressful
