I confirmed with RME about the all-analog function being only present in this model. I also like that it can switch unbalanced to balanced in the analog domain. Really, the only thing that would have made this a unicorn product is the dsp for headphones in the digital dac portion.

Does the Pro have an all analog preamp option with the analog inputs and outputs? Does it bypass the DPS fully? Asking because I would like to digitize my vinyl but also play it as well

Well, that is a little odd, but not a deal breaker. I guess I can simply not have the iHA-6 on when using the lineout via RCA's to my preamp and vice versa. Thanks for the response!!

With the iDac-6 can the rca and xlr outs be connected and chose between the two? I want to connect the rca's to my preamp and the xlr to the iHA-6 and be able to choose which output via line out mode.
