Any good DAC+AMP+SPKS+CABLE setup under $150
For music, yeah 2.0 or 2.1 is all we need. But for movies, I badly need as many channels as possible. But opinion differs. Even he likes 5.1, but not at the cost of those disgusting cables around his place. Coming to the topic, I didn't know (still don't know how) we could connect a sub with a... -
Any good DAC+AMP+SPKS+CABLE setup under $150
Thanks for your input buddy. I had initially asked him to opt for passive speakers since I thought it'd be future proof, if he wanted to get a 5.1 later. But he's not going to get a 5.1 anytime soon. So I'm gonna recommend him these powered studio monitors. Like the pioneers bookshelves, even... -
Any good DAC+AMP+SPKS+CABLE setup under $150
Hi Head-Fiers, One of my friends moved to U.S recently (Philadelphia) and wants to buy a stereo setup that'd provide him the most transparent music under $150. He was asking for a studio monitor, but I thought of recommending him a setup with a bit of fun, energy and thump. Since he has neither...- emmarbee

Brainwavz R1 Review
Not for treble heads, No. Like I mentioned, they are bright (Bright - A sound that emphasizes the upper midrange/lower treble. Harmonics are strong relative to fundamentals.) to my taste. Coming from an year of listening in GR06, I felt they are a bit harsh. I found ample amount of bass, but...- emmarbee

Brainwavz R1 Review
After a long struggle to get a decent fit with these IEMs, got a chance to listen to them. Wow! Bright, engaging, highly detailed, unforgiving and ear fatiguing sound I've heard so far. Owned previously: ep 630 -> Xears N3i -> Xears XE 200 Pro -> Vsonic GR06. Also have listened to 8320, M2, GR02...- emmarbee

It's been five days since I've ordered. There is no update about the shipping status. Is this normal? And in the 'User Area' (The window that comes after I log in with my customer number), the staus says 'In Queue' - Means isn't the order shipped yet? Should I wait without doing...- emmarbee

^ - thanks for the tip nuts. But my budget is $50. Given the budget, is HAFX1X is better than N3i in terms of both bass and detailing (see my first post, I would've asked for a bit of detailing too)... @esanthosh - phew! that's so relieving! anyway, i hope nothing happens to my N3i...- emmarbee

Atlast! I've ordered my pair of N3i. Quote: Is it true? Will I receive the shipment in 2-3 days? I highly doubt that, cause I live in India and the products that I buy in Indian Online stores takes 2-3 days to reach my house. Shipment from Germany will most probably take...- emmarbee
