It might be in protection mode, the first few seconds it doesn’t turn on, then something clicks and it turns on. Check the power supply voltage selector, disconnect all inputs/outputs and see if it turns on on its own.

I don’t have channel balance issues, but I had to set my Chord Qutest output to 1V to have more range on the pot. The problem is when I need a more gain reaching for the input gain adjustment in the HM1 is a bit of a hassle.

To me it seems like the H1 lost way more features than price. They are saving one box, the weird power supply cable, the EQ, the second input, the pre out, and the mixer. Price is almost the same as a full HM1. I was expecting around 5-6k for the simplified version.

My pads started disintegrating, it seems like the fake suede reached its end of life. Is there a guide or something about how to replace them? Is it hard to get them aligned properly?

I don't know about the newest Khozmo attenuators thus the question, Wells Audio uses now Goldpoint attenuators to avoid that issue.

In the past Khozmo stepped attenuators have had popping issues when adjusting the volume, are these ones free of such issues?

What's your source? It could be an issue with the signal timing.

It depends a lot on your ear geometry, measurements use an average ear shape so you might get different results.

Has anyone compared these to Grado PS2000e?
