Yeah, I have the fake SHE3800. Anecdotally they seem more common now.

I'm not a huge fan of the SHE3800, but I'm not sure if fake is the right word when there are no real ones from Philips. I should pick up a pair of the Edifiers.

I ended up putting tape over the KSC75 clip. It gives the PE headband enough to grab onto now.

I knew the cable was thinner but I hadn't heard that the sound quality was worse. Hopefully they'll mellow out after some more burn in.
