Do you equalize?
Don't put too much faith in the equal loudness curves. They don't really affect/describe my hearing. I had a hearing test done, and I can hear all tones equally, even at low volumes.- ElectricBlack

Grado SR60 for Jogging?
Grado SR-60's tend to move around on my head. I have to keep adjusting them. That's not so good for jogging. Plus they look a bit strange in public. Try a Sennheiser model instead.- ElectricBlack

Very high frequency thoughts
For some reason, whenever I stop talking to Mike, this whole discussion sounds like bull****. The feeling keeps coming back and makes me very uneasy. When discussing things on the terms of the theory, then the theory has the answers. But if you then try to look at the situation in a...- ElectricBlack

Is It OK To Put Cans On Top Of Speakers?
Please don't think this is a silly question. I realize that loudspeakers involve several drivers, each with its own magnet. However, the midrange and treble drivers are suppost to be shielded. In my experience with magnets, they affect each other's charges and relative strengths when exposed to...- ElectricBlack

Is It OK To Put Cans On Top Of Speakers?
Is it advisable to keep a set of cans directly on top of a loudspeaker? Could the magnetic field around the speaker interfere with the magnets inside the cans? For example: Alter their charge, or affect them negatively in any way? If so, how long would it take for any...- ElectricBlack

How does the Shure E2C hold up against the ER-6i?
warpdriver, there shouldn't be any hard feelings between us. That wouldn't be right. I would like to be fair about the situation as I see it. To the degree I have justly upset you (and to that degree only), I apologize, although it was unintentional. I do forgive you for being a bit of a...- ElectricBlack
