    Android phones and USB DACs

Too bad there isn't a way to add some NPN transistors into the code. (Oh the wonders of fantasy) Realistically, there would have to be better output amplifiers added to the hardware. Of course, that would require different manufacturers to sell better quality goods. The trouble is consumers...

    Android phones and USB DACs

Granted ...root access may be required for the codec updates. I should have included that in my original reply. I hadn't looked into changing codec settings too much for android. Since android is basically a proprietary distribution of linux made for mobile devices, it would seem possible. But...

    Android phones and USB DACs

I think you can download the codec packs which will give you more functionality for your android devices. Of course that depends on how proprietary the manufacturer keeps the device functions. Cyanogenmod has cured a couple of the proprietary "issues" for me in the past.

    Hello and greetings to all

Hello, I actually stumbled across this site when researching push pull amplifiers. I am an electronics tech. I have been working with electronics and computers for 17 years. I think there is some pretty cool stuff in the forums here. I hope to continue following the threads in days to come. -...

Can a single ended amp be truly balanced?

The ground in the schematic is connected to the emitter for the NPNs. This shouldn't cause any interference with the analog signal, since it does not travel through the transistors. The signal is applied to the base. The Collector changes its current response directly in correlation with the...

Can a single ended amp be truly balanced?

Balanced Signal flow- Analog signal is inserted into T1.  Transformer T1 separates Positive and Negative portions of the Analog signal and applies them to the base of NPN transistors Q1 and Q2. The NPNs share a grounded emitter.  The DC power supply is connected negative lead to ground, and the...
