Grew up in the south bay area in the 70s and 80s. (KOME and KSJO). Lived in CA, DC, Boston, Austria, Dallas and am now in Utah. 6 kids and a wonderful wife who tolerates this obsession. Dad had McIntosh/Altec setup. I blew the tweeters on the Altecs with the cannon on The Chipmunks "Rootin' Tootin' Cowboy. Fell in love with audio at 10 with some Klipsch LaScalas at a friend's house. Built speakers in college with my great uncle. Graduated from BYU and HBS. Worked at Bain, Omniture, PayPal and several venture-backed startups.
