The only Nordost model that offers a USB Micro is the Purple Flare - I have used 2 lengths with an Intona isolator in the past. I ended up preferring optical in the main system, still use the Purple Flare when I use an Iphone or laptop as a source.

If you are fond of the Nordost sound signature, the Heimdall cables are a huge step from the Leif series, and are worth the price with the Hugo2 if you can justify it. I’ve since moved on the Auditorim 23 and Luna Orange for a different signature.

The Hugo2 will support multiple bluetooth devices, but not automatically re-pair. To switch between bluetooth sources you need to switch the Hugo to another source, then switch back and pair again, or unpair on the source device.

In agreement with MagnusH - I use the Lifatec as well with a Mac Mini and the Hugo2. I am able to get 24/192 and DSD64.

I have been using a Hugo2 directly into a vintage Linn LK280 amp with excellent results. I much prefer it direct versus using the Linn LK1 preamp (admittedly not a great pre.)

Absolutely. The 30-pin camera connector works with the iPhone 4 without issue; cannot confirm iPod.
