Audeze - Maxwell Gaming Headsets! (latest: Firmware v63 and HQ v107 beta on June/12/24)

I don't know how knowledgeable you are on amplifiers and such, so I'll just try to explain some of Audeze's logic to the best of my ability for those who might not know. But the Maxwell has a built-in amplifier and circuitry, and it likely relies on that to deliver consistent audio performance...

Audeze - Maxwell Gaming Headsets! (latest: Firmware v63 and HQ v107 beta on June/12/24)

From the FAQ: Based on what has been mentioned in the EQ, I would guess that if anything, the big difference of using the Xbox variant on PS5 will have more to do with its maximum volume output and perhaps its noise floor in practice. But we may just have to wait and see during reviews.

Audeze - Maxwell Gaming Headsets! (latest: Firmware v63 and HQ v107 beta on June/12/24)

@Audeze I would like some clarity regarding the battery life. On your website, you claim: Can you clarify if this is exclusively over Bluetooth LE Audio/LC3/LC3plus? Or if this battery life is attainable via 2.4GHz? Thanks!

    Audeze Penrose X and Penrose

That's correct. Bluetooth will work. That being said, Audeze has also mentioned releasing the dongles separately so that you can use one headset with all the platforms. I'm also a Mac user but want to use the Penrose X for gaming on PC and Xbox. So I'll likely pick up the other dongle once it's...
