I use the campfire Vega with the dx200ti with amp8 and amp1ti. I know they are a bit different but the Vega sounds great. I think the Vega compliments the dx200 very well. One is a a bit warmer and the other is what I would consider close to neutral. I listen almost everyday as much as I can...

I use high gain. I put my amps volume at 12 o’clock and then raise the volume on my dap until I get the loudness I want. With HD800S it is around 85-100. The reason for 12 o’clock is to make sure the sound is balanced. Sometimes at a lower volume one side will be louder than the other.

I use my DX200Ti with a Violectric 280 amp. I use balanced out of amp8 or amp1Ti and get amazing sound. I mainly listen with my Campfire Audio Vega or HD800S. Amazing control, wide and deep soundstage, just amazing sound. I love it.

I have a jr. and sometimes pair it with an Oriolus oak 10 tube amp. I use Sennheiser HD800S and Campfire Audio Vega, sounds greatI love my ak jr. For an upgrade I recommend the Ibasso dx200. It is around $850. You can’t beat the sound for the price. The amps are interchangeable also. Great dac.

I finally tried out purist rom. To me it seems to tame the highs. Highs are smoother and more enjoyable. All the info is there but better. The mids seem to have a touch more warmth than before. Lows seem the same to me. I am not sure if depth is a tad deeper, to me it seems that way. I love it...

I use my dx200ti with an amp all of the time. I use high gain and set my amp volume at 12 o’clock. Turn the volume up on the dx200 until the sound is as loud as you would like, I set mine at 100. Then I use the volume on my amp to fine tune. This way imbalanced left and right should not affect...
