Welp, my 3rd Mobius pair just broke. This time, on the hinge over the left ear-cup. It had make creaking/straining noise for a while, and finally cracked. I put some plastic-binding epoxy on it, at least as a temporary solution. Does anyone know if I can request a B-stock pair of Penrose...

I got my replacement pair a couple months ago, and they have the same issue. For me, they stay on 7.1, but the 3D gets reset to "3D manual" whenever I turn them back on. I don't unplug them from my PC. I reset the firmware, but the issue still happens. I don't think I did the "UacFwConfig.exe"...

Yeah, I ended up sending them back and getting a B-stock pair. I didn't realize they changed the USB-A to USB-C cable. I received a 10-ft braided cable, instead of the 3-ft one I received with my other two mobius's (mobii?). The irony is I preferred the shorter cable; I plugged it into the...

Is there another way to get the serial number? I don't have the box, and the right earcup does not want to come off, no matter how hard I squeeze the two tabs or pull. EDIT: I got the earcup off. For those curious (unless it's just me having that issue): you don't pull from the two tabs on...

Welp, my replacement headphones (replaced December of last year because my original pair's yoke broke), also broke. The plastic piece on the bottom of the headband, next to the leather, that holds the headphone length in place and covers up the wire, popped off. The plastic is shorn and I can't...

I also experienced that some times. I unfortunately can't remember the exact fix. But I followed basic troubleshooting steps (powering off headphones, changing USB ports, reinstalling software, reinstalling firmware, etc.). Come to think of it, I switched my audio back to 8ch so maybe it was...

Does it also happen if you're plugged in via 3.5mm?

Yeah, I played yesterday with the volume at ~45. While it was quiet, I found that I got used to it after a while. But even 45 at 7.1 seems quieter than 20 at stereo. Maybe that's just my perception though

hmm, I could try spinning the headphone volume wheel all the way up, multiple spins past 100 on the PC, to make sure the slider isn't the issue EDIT: no luck, sounds are still quiet. I will try to just train my ears to listen to quieter sounds for now, until it feels normal. I noticed after...

Nope, and the volume dial will adjust the PC volume slider, as expected

Weird issue I just noticed: 7.1 connected to my PC via the included USB A cable is very quiet. Changing the 3D setting doesn't help at all (3D manual/auto/on is slightly louder than 3D off). I have my computer volume for 7.1 at 80 right now, and some things are still quiet. I was using Stereo...

My copper non-indiegogo's were replaced by a Carbon pair, about 6 months ago (I believe with the reinforced ribs, but I'm not sure). I have no idea if the other colors were sold out.

The soundstage on the mobius is much larger than the XM3s, and overall sound clarity/quality is much better. The XM3s need to be equalized, either via the Sony Headphones app or some 3rd party software, but they sound great with equalization. The XM3s are much more comfortable, and obviously the...

@ToniChopper I would describe the mobius as "high-quality wired headphones, with the added bonus of bluetooth". They are the best sounding wired headphones I've owned, but I don't own many headphones nor have any fancy setups, and I mostly game. I don't use these as my daily bluetooth...

I haven't run into any issues with the mic, and I'm definitely a casual user (just party chat with my friends). The mic works well enough for that; I come in clear and they don't hear my breathing most of the time.
