Who was he? I spoke to Richard on the phone and he was awesome. Give Audeze a call and ask to speak to him. I think that's what they'll be doing. Using their Adorama special release headphone and sending those out. I'm sure some will be getting brand new LCD-2's which is awesome.

Here's what I would do: Call and speak to an associate. Ask if there's any way they can still get you a b-stock LCD-2, because after all the error wasn't on your end. If they're certain there is no way you can get one now, ask if you could be put on a list to be contacted if they come up with...

They probably took it down because of the mass amount of LCD-2 orders. I'm sure if you emailed them and asked about the Deckard you could order one.

According to their Twitter, LCD-2's "sold out almost immediately". I'm forecasting a lot of refunds and disappointment.
