Would the M50 be suitable for regular listening. I noticed that they are designed for mixing. Also, I have a pair of Etymotic Research HF5. Does anyone know or can guess how they would compare to the M50's? 

I am planning to get a set of headphones for casual listening R&B, hip hop, and pop. I can get a pair of Beats Studio for $250 new, and a pair of Audio Technica M50 for $120 new. I do not know which one to get. I really like the style of the Beats Studio, but I will use the headphones at home...
