I clipped my fuze to my fostex T-50 (with some rubberbands), and made an interconnect from some broken earbuds and coaxial cable (rescued from a TV mfd. in 1977). I proudly wear this to class almost everyday.   I will upload pictures once I get a working camera, or can borrow some AA batteries.

I'm pretty sure you can get some good drivers from companies like Fostex. I know they make full range ones, but I haven't heard speakers that cost more than $10 in years.
