Is the eph-100 still a top contender for someone looking for a smooth and bassy iem around $100-150? Most of the popular iems I hear about at that range tend to be more v-shaped or bright which my ears can't handle (I'm super treble sensitive). However the eph has been out awhile and I'm not...

I just tried putting MEElec triflange tips on these. It took a bit of stretching to work them on to the wide nozzle of the TTpod, but wasn't too difficult. There is now significantly more isolation, and despite the fact that they were probably designed with a shallow insertion in mind, I think...

I live in the US and I'm interested in buying a pair of these.   Would it be cheaper to buy from an Amazon seller, or from a Japanese website and forward through Tenso?

Have any of you had a chance to compare these to the Sony MDR-1A? I did a search in the thread and not much turned up.

Very interested to hear some impressions on the MkII. I'm in the market for a pair of laid-back/dark sounding on ears.

I ordered a pair of these and a pair of Shure 1540s. Hopefully I'll end up keeping at least one of them. For referece, I have also owned the PM3, and while I loved the detail and tonality, I found the soundstage claustrophobic, which kind of spoiled it for me.
