With the apos it would distort without any eq. I used a magni unity amp from a modi dac. I don't have these yet. I am asking in advance before getting them.

Has anyone done an in depth sound comparison with the maxwell?

Is it normal to hear swishy sounds after doing a custom personalized sound setting? I am talking about old school low bitrate mp3 artifacts. I figured they werent broken because both sides have it after turning on the sound customization. It is more audible with quieter sounds than louder ones...
