Can you take a good picture of the pads as they are on your cans? Maybe I can identify it.- donunus

Sony MDR-CD900ST, why don't these get more love?
My stPad2 was only used once to test. I do not like the sound at all. The stPad standard one is okay except it still has that boominess in the upperbass low mid that I dont like so much. I just pulled the trigger on the microfiber to see what that does.- donunus

Sennheiser HD 400 Pro released
There is a new variant of the hd560s which you can tell by the included cable which defaults with a 3.5mm termination and a 1/4 inch adapter instead of having a 1/4 inch by default. The sound is more balanced and less weird in the highs vs the older hd560s. What I am wondering is whether they...- donunus

Reply to review by 'donunus' on item 'DUNU Titan S'
Just got the Titan S and all the stock tips aren't very natural sounding. Fit with any of the tips is great though. I love deeper fit IEMs. I tried final E tips all sizes, spinfits, and other tips and so far I find tin t2's stock eartips to sound best with them. They are now almost as natural as...- donunus

Massdrop x Sennheiser HD 58X Jubilee Review & Measurements
With a different source I do like the naked back more. I hear a rounder less defined bass with the pads at the back. With an arturia audio interface as a source, the rounder softer punch is good to change focus from the slightly hazy highs. With just an ifi hipdac as an upgrade to that hp jac...- donunus

iFi audio's worst kept secret: the hip-dac!
Question... On the old hipdac when using the latest 2021 xmos firmware, Does it indicate in anyway that it is charging? The one I have doesn't show any activity. It could be full but I was just using it for a while with the pc EDIT: Nevermind, I'm blind lol- donunus

Massdrop x Sennheiser HD 58X Jubilee Review & Measurements
Replying to my own post just to say that after a week of keeping the foam pads out of the back, I do hear response anomalies instead of the cohesive whole sound that I get in bone stock config. I decided that I would rather get that cohesive nature to keep the specialty of these cans intact...- donunus

Massdrop x Sennheiser HD 58X Jubilee Review & Measurements
With a regular solid state amp like my atom+, I actually like the 58x more than the 6xx. I take off the foam from the back grills, it gives more speed to the sound without adding brightness. I dont touch the front pads or foam to keep the factory tuning.- donunus

Sony MDR-7506
Opinions on the highs of the 7506 range from harsh to bright yet revealing... I wonder if this is more a personal preference thing or if the Sony's have actually improved over the years with silent updates.- donunus
