Sennheiser RS160, 170 ,180... Anyone?
Jalyst: I indeed did a DEEP search about that comparison...and have not found any other than that of Amazon...I meant a comparison between the Senn rs170/180 AND Sony MDR-ds6500...don't rush to reach a conclusion about my way to search. :) Might have some other comparison with other Sonys...- Donmichael

Sennheiser RS160, 170 ,180... Anyone?
I just found this short comment on Amazon: By Patrick Crews - See all my reviews Overall I'm happy with the purchase. The sound quality is perfect and exactly what I hoped for in the Sony 6500 series. I debated between this pair and the Sennheiser RS 180 for a long time. I've...- Donmichael

Sony 7506 vs Bose QC2: First hours
Ok, couple days ago, after weeks of readings the forum I bought the Sony 7506: Excellent cans, I already post my impression...but I was planning to buy a noise cancelling one too, since I fly a lot...in some cases loooooong travels....I tested the Sony NCR60 and I felt them uncomfortable and...- Donmichael

MDR-7506/V6: First hour.
Thanks Priest. I forgot to mention that I compared them against the HD380 Pro...and the 7506 surpassed the Senn by miles...I haven't search the 380 to see the opinions, perhaps I am committing sacrilege, but that was what I felt...I found the 7506 fuller than the 380 with better FR. If that...- Donmichael

Sennheiser HD 380 Pro (rather large photos inside)
I hardly couple hours ago tested the 7506 against 380 Pro...and took the Sony...more pleasant and better SQ, at least with the Buddha sounding there in their Mac.- Donmichael

MDR-7506/V6: First hour.
I bought my 7506 a couple hours ago. PROs:1-The HP is extremely pleasant to listen. 2-Very good frequency response, nice separation, much better than the QC2 I was testing which as the Triports was a salad of vegetables...Some say that after break in it sounds even better...let see.. 3-Quite...- Donmichael

ATH-M50 or Sony MDR-V6?
After several searching and different opinions I ended with this two runner up since my budget at maximum is $135. I know that perhaps they are in different league but both seems quite acceptable for a casual but demanding listener. My main target is Classic music and 60's Rock, I have to...- Donmichael

Bose TriPorts
Your opinion sounds very wise to me. I guess we have to decide if we want "natural" sounds, "pleasants" sounds, "personal" sounds (the music is sounding to ME), etc...There is a subtle difference between these approaches. I prefer "closed" types...I wonder if the PX200 would sound a little...- Donmichael
