Ordered up a premium from monoprice. Should be here Wednesday along with my M-Stage coming in on Tues :)   Should be a good week!

Ended up getting that M-stage I posted for $193 shipped to my door. Now all I need is RCA cables to attach the Titanium HD to the M-stage.   Thoughts on this? Cable quality really any different? I dont want to spend 2x for a cable that is only 5% better(Im a price/performance guy)

TBH, the more im reasearching the more I dont think I need a portable amp.

Just got the card in today.   Was wondering what are the optimal settings in windows, Creative control panel and in games should I be using?  What settings for music?   Should be getting the q701 in a few days.

On another note, what would be the best way to hook-up both the receiver and headphones to the new soundcard?

Thanks Purple for that explanation.   I have a HTR-5830 btw.   For future reference, if I decide to get rid of the Yamaha and get a dedicated headphones amp, could I run the sub still? How would this be hooked up?

Sounds like a plan :p   So this will bypass the processing of the audio from the HD to the reciever? I do not want the audio getting converted more than once.
