One of the pads on my HEKSE fell off. The mounting ring cracked in 3 separate areas.. I see replacement pads on Hifiman's site the V2 but not sure if it is the same pads used in the SE. Anyone have any other pad suggestions?

The individual parts themselves he's not all building from scratch. He gets the pads from ZMF, cables from Viking Weave, drivers from some guy, 3D prints some of the parts. He handles putting it together and doing the necessary modding and magnet stuff for it to sound the way it is supposed to.

I may be misunderstanding but isn't the impedance to the headphones themselves still unchanged even after the changes you made, and the frequency response elevation issue would still be there?
