Dual 3 pin XLR. So few options.

I got a Musical Fidelity AMP for Christmas. My problem is finding dual 3 pin xlr cables for my headphones. My only options are either very cheap or very expensive. I was hoping for something in the $50 to $100 range. I have Senn HD 650, Oppo PM1, and Sony MDR-z7.

    Astell&Kern Launches New A&norma SR35 Player

I've had my player since Friday and the balanced cable for Senn 600/650 since noon. Absolutely loving it. Has anyone found a seller with an adapter that goes from dual 3.5mm balanced to single 4.4mm balanced. My searching so far has been fruitless. Thanks in advance.

The Official Grado 325e Owners Club!

My SR325e pads have disintegrated. Is this common or did I accidently leave them in the sun? I don't think they are getting direct sunlight but I am not around in the afternoon to see.

    Think I need some Beyerdynamics!

I have a work bonus coming soon and I think I want some new cans and I was leaning Beyerdynamic. I have been reading threads and still can't make up my mind. Budget is no more than $600. I have and love: Oppo HA-1 Oppo HA-2 from computer Pono Senn HD650 Oppo PM1 Grado 325 SonyZ7 Focal Listen...

    Open headphones for treble head?

Try the Grado SR-325. Straight out of my Oppo-105 I found them too bright and thought I made a mistake buying them. However, out of the computer and into the Oppo-HA2 I find them magical.

Is Sony MDR-Z7 really that bad?

I like mine a lot but i do like my Hd650 and SR325’s more and they are cheaper. One thing that sold me is it came with a balanced cable that fit the Pono so I factored and extra $100 into buying another model I was looking at. They get used about 20% of the time, seem to be driven easier then...

Where or how do you guys get songs to your DAPs?

Most of my stuff on my Pono is CD ripped to wave or FLAC. I found hi-Rez downloads to be mixed bag. Some sound amazing, some sound no better than a CD. Some sound worse.

    Oppo PM-3 replacement cable

If you are hooking to HA-2 do not get balanced. That being said I have bought from Custom Cans in the past (hd-650/PM-1) And been very happy. I needed a replacement for a portable cable for PM-1 and went cheap on EBay from China and I think it is better than the original. Once you choose the...

I have $4,500 for a full headphone setup

I was thinking Tampa has to have some place to at least try some more popular headphones and some amps and maybe DACs. Make a list and got try out what they have. If you are going to drop that much they will treat you very well.

What headphones are you currently rocking?

    Best Closed Cans ~$300

I think you should add the Focal Listen to your list unless wireless is a must. I own them and Sony Z7 And if you like the z7 I think you will like the listen. I owned the Z7 first but needed a can I was willing to take out of the house. The Focal sounds so good out of an iPod i don’t amp it...

Why do my HD700's sound worse than my HD598's?

Granted I only tried them in store for 10 minutes and they were probably not burned in but I did not care for the 700s at all. I purchased the Grado 325e that day and I also like my Hd650s more than the 700

Is my HD 6x0 cable faulty?

It is definitely the cable. Had a similar situation with an Oppo cable. Picked up a cheap cable on EBay for under 10 bucks. Sounds fine.

    Focal Listen Impressions and Review

I am very happy with mine too, especially coming straight out of my iPod. I just can’t get as technical on my descriptions. I tested the Elears at the same time and preferred Listens. I can get about 3 hours listening before I find them uncomfortable. They do not get any use with the main system...
