Koss KSC75 driver in Bose Triport housing : Possible?
I just transplanted some KSC-75 into a cheap semi-closed set and sound quality has changed quite significantly. I can't necessarily attribute it all to the headphones as I recabled it concurrently but for what I put into it i'm pleased with the results. FWIW it took me about 4 hours.- dinoadventures

Photography: ND filter vs CPL
old metering systems measured light, not exposure. this was up until the 80's, i think.pre 1970's, rangefinders were the thing so you'd have to compensate for filtering anyway.- dinoadventures

Photo-Fi: Do you shoot in RAW or JPEG?
RAW only. never JPEG. Then again, I'm not one of these crazy sports shooters that fires off the continuous drive for thousands of frames a day.- dinoadventures

The Most Sensual ("Sexual") Song/Music Of All Time?
I agree with: Berlin - "Sex" Massive Attack - "Inertia Creeps" The Blood Group's first album is along those lines too. and, just for fun (not serious or anything), I'll toss in Detroit Grand Pubahs - "Sandwiches"- dinoadventures

What to do against loud snoring?
i had my nasal passages surgically corrected. it didn't hurt or cause anything more than minor discomfort. i sleep SO much better now and i don't get tired in the middle of the day like i used to. I also seem to breathe better when working out. it's truly incredible. i still snore a little...- dinoadventures

Photography: ND filter vs CPL
I don't know why you would need an ND for macro photography. CPL, maybe, but I don't think so. ND's are not terribly useful for most kinds of shooting. Not unless you need, say, a shallow DOF long exposure in the daytime with a fast lens. Grad ND's however, are really useful and I've got a...- dinoadventures

Which Soldering Iron to Buy?
Not to threadjack, but I felt it would be better to ask here instead of making a new thread... I'm gonna make a pair of small IC's. I need something that'll help me do the job well, but I don't want to spend a lot of money. I've soldered maybe one thing in my life, so I suck at it and I...- dinoadventures

Sloppy Grado, Or Nitpicking?
I don't find it annoying. The only things I find annoying about my 80's are: 1) rediculously cheap headband material (Grado won't sell me the leather part) 2) crimps in the cable by the Y split. I could do without that. 3) I wish the individual sides couldn't rotate all the way around to...- dinoadventures
