For some of us, the local power supply is not clean, is not stable and is not reliable.

I use an SBooster with SBooster Ultra on my 2Qute - it does make a difference.

This evening's mod completed - Rega 2mm 3-point spacer. Yesterday's mod is visible - Michael Lim double pulley. It all sounds surprisingly good via headphones. 

Nice cartridge. I highly recommend the Groovetracer subplatter as your first mod, if you do start to go down that rabbit hole. Yes, it would be great to have a vinyl/analog forum here on Head-Fi.

My apologies, if this has been answered before. I am thinking of getting the new Mac mini which has USB 3 connections. Should I expect a drop in sound quality, or no difference, vs USB 2 with my 2Qute?

I purchased a Chord 2Qute a week ago - it is definitely a step up from my Pulse Infinity.

Rob, I know that you recommend that the 2Qute only be used with it's own wall wart, but I now have an unused Geek LPS, since recently acquiring the Chord 2Qute.  The Geek LPS puts out 12V, 1.2A as opposed to the 12V, 0.6A of the 2Qute wall wart.   What are your thoughts?
