I have been listening to my meridian explorer for about a month now.  I can say that, my 2009 sony vaio cw beats the meridian explorer.  Even my 2006 sound blaster x-fi titanium sound card on my desktop beats the meridian.  With that said, the meridian explorer does sound better than my 2013...

The IM50 have dual drivers.  Does multi-driver IEM really make music sound better?  Shure produce IEMs with three drivers.

I am listening to these CKM500 at work.  The music sounds very low.  Is anyone else experiencing the same?  Or am I going deaf?  I have my original earphones that came with the iPhone 5 and they sound much louder than these CKM500.  I hope plugging it into the Meridian Explorer didn't ruin these...
