Best AC Conditioner for $300 or less

Humbuster and ultimate outlet are two totally different devices for different purposes. Ultimate outlet is a power filter for especially common mode interference (common mode choke!). Hubuster is for removing DC offset from AC. DC might cause transformer humming but a transformer can hum for...

    Recommend an isolation platform.

There are several things to concider when "isolating" a device. 1. vibrations caused by sound 2. Vibrations caused by the vibrating rack 3. Caused by the device itself (transformer, spinning CD etc...) Most people who have actually been experimenting with different isolation platforms...

    Aura Bass Shakers

Here's my DIY butkicker: http://kotiweb.kotiportti.fi/audiovi.../taristin.html And here's a video which in quite informing http://kotiweb.kotiportti.fi/audiovi...ataristin3.wmv I recommend using these with a decent amp with about 50 W continuous power. It is very irritating to use...

I think you have misunderstood something... It has no meaning which lead is first. They are all in the same voltage point.

    OPA604 to OPA627 in Shanling CD-S100 mkII

I assembled my DIY single to dual apaptor last night. I'm not sure if it's designed correctly. I made the larger version bacause the smaller requires one jumper and you have to cut off a few unused pins. In the larger adaptor there is room for caps in the middle. In LC Audio AD8065 module...

    Wallwart and LM317 questions

Should I attach larger caps to input and putput while testing? How large should the load resistor be? 250 ohms --> 20 mA? Do you mean that the new version (message 16) is allright? I've build the module using that PCB. I'm sorry about these stupid questions. I'm a total electronics newbie...

    Wallwart and LM317 questions

Thanks for the advice! My player is Sony DVP NS900. You were right. The cap is in the wrong place. The two circles are for two different size caps. I wasn't sure which size I was going to use. I will be using normal components, not SMD. Quote: Also, will it matter that the...

    Wallwart and LM317 questions

Here's the module I've been working on. In addition to these small caps on the PCB, there's 2000 uF before and 1000 uF after the regulator (already in the original CDP configuration). I really hope it works this time... EDIT: The PCB is designed totally wrong !!! Don't use it!!!

    Wallwart and LM317 questions

Thanks. I'm designing a PCB module for LM317 which will have space for the resistors, safety diode and caps. I really hope it works. I plan to use it to replace LM7805 in my CDP. It feed DAC board so the voltage quality is very important.

I have this exact problem with LM317 and I don't know what to do about it. Has anyone solved this mystery yet?
