New to the audio hobby. Wanting iem recommendations.
I wrote in another thread but I started out on $100 Shure IEMs. Loved the isolation. So if you asked what feature they should have, I'd say good isolation. If you used a $800 pair to start, you're probably not going to tell how they sound different from a cheaper pair, unless you've got good...- dflame57

Decent sounding IEM out of box?
I mean for under 300 you probably don't really need a DAC or amp. My first pair of IEMs were $100 Shures. they isolated the sound so well you couldn't hear anything but the music. This was using old MP3 players 15 years ago. I used them for at least 8 years.- dflame57

In-Ear Monitor Maintenance | 64 Audio
I sure notice less ear wax on my IEMs after cleaning my ears. When I start seeing wax, you know it's time. Thanks for the tips- dflame57

Campfire Audio Chromatic Series
So with the reviews of the Bonneville here I went ahead and upgraded from UE 7pros ciem. I haven't been following the scene for a few years so I wanted to get something new. Hopefully it works out! Does anyone have a mid range DAP recommendation to pair it with?- dflame57

The Sony 40th Anniversary Walkman Thread
Are people getting hiss or static when using theirs? I just bought one and I'm getting hiss/static when the screen is on with my UE 7s. I'm pretty new to the audiophile game but I don't get any hiss with my Fiio M6. I wanted an android DAP and this looked like a great option but the hiss is a...- dflame57
