The treble is not too sharp/sibilant, this is not the issue.. The issue is that it makes bright/dry sounds sound too dry most of the time.. It becomes very shimmering on some tracks.. Now I've tried and reviewed ZiiGaat Cincotres I've felt a void inside me.. Its like I didn't really get what I was looking for.. The Cincotres does well with mostly warm/bassy music, but as soon as a bright lead, percussion comes in or you hear ambient with a lot of details it seems very peaky...- dezzadk

Great review👍 Interesting you ended up preferring the cheaper Simgot. Can you elaborate on the thin sounding mids? Which instruments, drums or percussion suffers on this?- dezzadk

I have some TRN Clarion on the way, obviously not the same.. but I have loads of eartips on the way.. also DUNU S&S which I am most hopeful for.. Right now I'm listening on Pentaconn Coreir Brass and they really reveal all flaws in that IEM cuz the brass core makes the sound very transparent...- dezzadk

I will update this review soon after I received more eartips and write a full review, but I made up my mind. I think what this IEM suffers from the most is the shimmering metallic treble which I can't unhear.. It destroys its ability to be used in a lot of my library such as everything just...- dezzadk

Ok.. I think I am ready to give some well-founded but short criticism until I get some more eartips to test with. I got new pairs of Azla SednaEarfit Xelastec and Pentaconn Coreir Brass. They are both an improvement, but currently prefer the Xelastec. What I can say about the Cincotres so far...- dezzadk
