I didn't hear LCD 3 but have own LCD xc, LCD 4 and have focal utopia currently. I would put it this way I call Zeus xr adel is focal utopia of Iem. It's all around iem flip switch and you get your sound profile. Been using xr adel since December.- DesiGuy79
