Would you be willing to give a verdict on the soundstage at this point? Is it as wide as the 700 or a little more narrow like the 6x0 series?

The method they use looks very similar to the HD700's cover. It's a fine mesh . I wouldnt be surprised if it had a drive related to the 700 if the methodology is similar

My 3.5mm to 1/4in adapter broke last night. I currently use the Xonar Essence STX and run it to my Valhalla 2. Right now, running RCA cables from the speaker output to the amp sounds okay, and has cleaned up a lot of boise coming from my GPU. Is this going to do anything negative to the signal?

Gonna go with the DT990 32ohm for music. It works wonders for gaming. For my genres though, it just doesnt cut it. It could be that Ive used the HD600 for years before hearing them, but they sound a little hollow
