AKG "K267 TIËSTO" - Discussion, Impressions & Review Thread
I do use either the E6 and E17, but the sub-bass isn't that strong either. The high and mids are really refined though.- Dellaran

Pulled my trigger on the MDR1R. Still burning in but I'm quite pleased with the sound I auditioned.- Dellaran

AKG "K267 TIËSTO" - Discussion, Impressions & Review Thread
I have a relatively small head for a guy (55cm, around 21 and a half inches), so I don't think its gonna be a problem for me. I'd probably be testing the ATH-M50 and MDR-1R to see which fits my taste now. The K267 seems to be having some problems despite the delays. I would've got the K550s if...- Dellaran

I can get those, but what I mean is I couldn't audition them before paying up. Guess I'll try the Sony MDR-1Rs- Dellaran

I just can't find a great pair of over ear cans with combination of looks, semi portability, comfort, and decent SQ within the 300 dollar range. The AKG k267 looks really nice but it's not released in my area so I can't test it. I need a new pair (or desperate to search for a new pair) of...- Dellaran

I might just get the ATH M50 to save me some money. Though it seems like the M50 also has too much of clamping force does it?- Dellaran

Quote: I didn't look at the mad dogs because of the need of a good amp, I'm looking at some closed back cans that can be driven easily with E17 (because I might bring it out).- Dellaran

I tend to listen to rock and pop (especially JPOP) more, not quite a bass head but I do not like the bass being too silent.- Dellaran

What are some great closed back headphones other than AKG k267 in the similar price range? It seems like the k267 are getting mixed reviews.- Dellaran

Exactly. After it's release then people can make a better review about it. Then I can consider again.- Dellaran

AKG "K267 TIËSTO" - Discussion, Impressions & Review Thread
I was just about to get akg k550, but my head is smaller than average size. It seems to be an okay fit to people with larger head circumferences. There's no store to try it out now, so it would be risky. From what I've heard the Tiesto line are pretty good and they're smaller, so I don't think...- Dellaran

It seems like the AKG k181 cans are on-ear or supraaural. I was looking for an over-ear closed back. I currently own a pair of k518 DJ. I was looking at the Tiesto series as it the reviews said it qualifies as a hi-fi headphone instead of just DJ uses.- Dellaran

Ahh, but I'm seeing k267 reviews with isolation/leak problems. I would like a pair of great isolation and minimum leakage headphones. I would have to check k267 reviews again after 1/17 then, when more people could review it.- Dellaran
