yup. it works. Feeding the ZenCAN from a Mojo2 with 2.12V for a recliner setup. +18db gain on the amp. Around 85db is the limit (around 3 o clock on the volume pot) (measured with phone... take with a grain of salt but plenty loud for my personal listening level), after that it starts to distorts.

I saw the specs but it just says 1W but is it at 16ohms ? 32ohms ? 300ohms ? That is what I'm curious

At what impedance is the power rating measured ? Asking for the Tungstens

I'd say a minimum of 12V for an average 80db loudness which is not loud but not quiet either The ZenCAN puts about 12V at 150Ohms and just under 1W probably. I'd say it's sufficient to start with and you can at least know where you stand and know what amp to upgrade later

I'm waiting for an XLR to 4.4 connector and I can verify that for you but someone else reported that they drive their Tungsten at work with a Zen CAN so it should be fine for normal listening levels. I plan to make mine "portable" around the house if indeed it works

For anyone wondering about the SA-1 pairing, if you have a hot DAC and feed it SE and use BAL out, it should in theory have around 17db of gain + whatever you feed from your DAC above 2V. In theory it should be enough but don't know about headroom and all of that
