Trying to play the new "Masters" tracks through my Hugo on a PC, and I'm not getting hirez.  Have confirmed that the Hugo hirez inputs / decoding works, as I'm able able to play 96/24 / DSD through JRiver.   Does Tidal necessarily equate "Master / Hirez" to MQA, so one must have latter DAC...

  Thanks a ton for this rec - Kirsty Huke is fantastic.  Her CDs appear to be out of circulation, so Tidal lossless is the way to go right now.   Other than her "Wish You Were Here" cover (on Deloo) her "Don't Worry 'Bout Me" track is incredible - just her sweet voice and standing bass.

  I've been running my MJ2 almost non-stop since receiving it Friday, and found the bass quality definitely improved -- hits harder, is tight, and sufficiently deep.   I have my Hugo going through my McIntosh preamp for EQ, then to MJ2, and have dialed back both low/high freqs.
