Do you use external dac/amp or you just plug the headphones straight into the controller? Is there enough volume headroom?

What I'm worried is the reports saying the ps5 can't provide enough power for wired headphones like the x2hr. Even using an external dac/amp like the sound blasterx g6 does not help much. Must be due to the usb port on the ps5.

Anyone here uses the x2hr with the ps5 for 3d audio? How is it?

It bothered me when I tried the 560s at the store. I guess I have big ears. That's why I want to know if this will get better over time.

Interested in the 560s again but worried about the triangle notch inside the ear cups. Question to people with big ears: do they become less bothersome overtime?

I'm confused. This method will only send the atmos stream to home theater systems, not headphones. I'm talking about getting dolby atmos stream on headphones. So far the Smyth Realizer is the only device on the planet able to do that.

It's almost a crime that dolby access app doesn't decode dolby atmos for headphone for movies. I may have to consider buying an avr and speakers, but headphones are just so much less of a hassle.

I'm buying speakers guys.
