Audeze LCD-X
I haven't tried the LCD-2's or Elears but the LCD-X does not seem as bright as my Fostex TH-900 mk2 SB's... more bass but less midrange than the Fostex. Listening to https://referencerecordings.com/recording/holst-the-planets 176/24 FLAC, both balanced from iFi xDSD. LCD-X seems more natural...- DarkShinigami34

Fostex T60RP
I am now using the Fostex ET-RP2.5BL balanced cable and a 3.5mm balanced adapter for my iFi xDSD. Clean and controlled with greater separation. Tighter bass and a more airy sound. This is also with the angled hybrid Dekoni sheepskin pads.- DarkShinigami34

JDS Labs C5/C5D (pg96) portable amp/amp+DAC
Thanks! I grabbed the Zelda image from someone who previously uploaded it for their engraving and decided to combine it with the Soul Eater image I used for my V-MODA Crossfade M-100's.- DarkShinigami34

JDS Labs C5/C5D (pg96) portable amp/amp+DAC
For whatever reason, most of the resulting items from my USB A male to mini USB male query weren't at all what I was searching for. The USB cable in my previously posted setup was is one of Amazon's many add-on items that can only be tacked onto orders $25 and above; shipped it along with...- DarkShinigami34

JDS Labs C5/C5D (pg96) portable amp/amp+DAC
Thought about equipping the C5D with a small USB mini adapter but decided against blocking the rear camera. Using the StarTech.com USB2HABM6IN 6-Inch Mini USB 2.0 Cable and genuine Apple Lightning to USB Camera Adapter. The sound from the C5D is wonderful! Thank you!- DarkShinigami34

On Ear Closed vs. Full Size Open
Wow, these things sound amazing. Better than any other full size headphone I've owned. I used to have the HD428 (closed) but they were vacuumed up and the cable was ripped out, which is why I upgraded to these. I think the DT990 PRO 250 Ohm is very much worth the $200. The HD650 is around twice...- DarkShinigami34

On Ear Closed vs. Full Size Open
Hi! I've recently ordered the DT990 Pro 250ohm and should get them in about a week. Since I own the Sennheiser HD25-1 II (similar to DT1350) and FiiO E17, I can try comparing them to give you an idea of what to expect.- DarkShinigami34

Should I need an amp for the Sennheiser's HD 25-1 II for ipod use?
I am also thinking about getting the HD 25-1 II within the next month or so. After researching portable amps for the past day or two, I have decided to choose between the PA2V2 and Fiio E11. Currently, I'm leaning more towards the PA2V2 for the type of sound I want (with aggressive metal/rock...
