HD-555 were the first ones. Then I got the Super fi. 5 pro for portable use. A few days ago I ordered the Denon D-2000s. Not bad for lurking around here for what, 2 years now.

I shipped it with DHL since I'm familiar with their service and figured it was worth spending a little bit more since I never really order something like this overseas. Anyways, I just emailed pricejapan and they said this was normal so I'm hoping for the best.

Bah, I have been sucked in and pulled the trigger yesterday. Anyways, seeing as how I like the sennheiser sound and want something more refined, these should be good. I'm really hoping I get them this friday since it ships out today.

When you guys say not good quality, what exactly do you mean? I currently have the HD555 and am looking to upgrade to that. Is there something with the cable that would make it break in the future or is it just not "as good" as the higher quality cables you can put on headphones. If the quality...

Hm, all this talk about these headphones are making me really think about picking one up. The one thing I'm worried about is the warranty. Seeing as how we are importing them from Japan, will Denon still honor the warranty here?? I'm assuming the build quality is pretty nice from the pictures...

Since this thread is about storage, I thought I'd ask how you guys go about traveling with headphones? Any good (cheap) cases you guys can recommend?

Hm, seemed to have forgotten this part in my original post... For some reason one of the pieces have become a lot quieter than the other side. I checked to see if it was the individual ear pieces by flipping the wires around but when I flip, the loudness flips also. It's as if no power is going...

Just wondering if the newer thicker cables were worth spending the money on. I still have the older thinner ones and are pretty annoying with them tangling up and was hoping the thicker ones would solve the problem. Edit: Oh, and whats up with everything being out of stock on the UE website...

I remember hearing a while back that there were supposed to be thicker cables for the UE iems. I have the 5 pro and I've been looking at the website every once in a while but they still seem to only have the old thin cable for sale. Anyone know how to order the thicker ones or when they are out?
