super mini problems
Hello all, it's been quite a while since I last visited the forums. I don't remember how long ago but I purchased a super mini amp that worked just fine. Then I let it sit for probably half a year or more. After trying to use it again it was dead so I assumed it was the batteries and...- daredevii

Sharp MD33 plug mod (4 pole -> 3pole)
Buy a little 6 inch volume cord from Radio Shack and you don't need to mod anything and the cord then will be the perfect length.- daredevii

Pleasant surprise recently with my Sharp MD 33's
I did a search on this to see if anyone else has discovered this but didn't find anything though I admit I didn't look long. Please give me a break if this has been mentioned before and I wouldn't be surprised if it has. The converter calbe on these is a pain in the rear even though I think...- daredevii

canal/earbuds for school and Portable player
I'm very surprised there aren't more people speaking up for the MD 33s. The cord as mentioned comes with an adaptor. They've gotten very good reviews around here before. I sure like mine with the iPod.- daredevii

px100 vs md33 vs ksc35/75
Sorry to add to the confusion guys...I have to recommend the Sharp's. I've got both the PX 100's and the Sharps that I use with an iPod. Not only do I think they sound better (only marginally however, each will use a different eq setting), but the isolation will be appreciated at times.- daredevii

Foamies not necessary. They sit in there pretty comfortably...in my ears anyway. As I said, maybe some ear canals are too small.- daredevii

MX 400/500 owners
I brought this subject up before but have never heard any kind of comment on it so I don't know if this is common knowledge or not. It probably is but here goes anyway. I find them unimpressive if worn normally. But if you put them straight in your ear with the speakers facing the front of...- daredevii

Good soundtracks/musical scores for headphone listening?
Symphonic Dances from West Side Story by Leonard Bernstein is one of the finest pieces of orchestral music ever written in America. It's about a 20 minute piece with a ton of different styles. For straight movie soundtracks I like "Dances with Wolves", "Gettysburg", and the main theme from...- daredevii

portable open headphones -- are they not useless?
I use the MX 500 when I bike except I put them in a bit weird. I put them in perpindicular to my ear with the speaker facing forward. Works really well. In fact, you'd be surprised how much bass you get out of em put in that way.- daredevii
