KRK KNS-6400 Review - Impressive $99 Giant Killer

Hi, I'm thinking of buying these headphones for mixing music (not DJ-ing mixing), so I'm wondering how flat and accurate they actually are? @tdockweiler mentioned they sound totally opposite of HD600, but they measure increeedibly close, and HD600 are often refered as flattest/best headphones...

    ATH-M50's little bass.

My advice is then to go to some local store and try the other M50s, just to be sure you have a good working pair.

    ATH-M50's little bass.

M50s have pathetic bass? They have a lot of bass. As many said, they aren't the bassiest headphones, but they are far from neutral, and bass is the dominant region. I've only heard them once, but from what I remember there was a plenty of bass, but it was, for my taste, too compressed. The...

    German Maestro GMP 8.40 D vs 8.35 D

Hey guys, I can buy German Maestro (MB Quart version actually) headphones for ridiculously low money (10 euros, tho ear pads need to be changed). It turned out they are German Maestro 8.40, not 8.35 as I thought. I've read a lot of good reviews for 8.35, but couldn't find much for 8.40, and...

    Superlux 681 688b 661 or 681 evo?

On the topic.   My guess is, you should really checked them. I don't know about others, but 688b are for monitoring, very analitical, no wild bass, so they aren't really fun for listening to everything (I supose).   Watch reviews and se which one are more hi fi ones.   Hope that helped...

    Superlux 681 688b 661 or 681 evo?

I'm in similar dilema, but since I'm going to use them for mixing music, I go with 668b. Howewer, I've read something that really worries me about them. I've already seen they have 5k+ bump. Tho the first one some guy complaining about lacking "extreme bass", oh god.     2nd     tho...

Superlux HD-668 B vs KOSS KSC75 (or even PortaPro) for producing/mixing music

Response for PortaPro vs KSC75 was pretty poor, but this one might be better.   Since I screwed up my Sennheiser HD215, I want to buy some headphones that I can produce/mix music on. I'm saving the money for studio monitors, so please don't recommend more expensive headphones. (I'll do the...

KOSS PortaPro vs KSC75 for music production/mixing?

Thanks.I don't want to spend more money, because I'm collecting it for studio monitors. Also would awould closed headphones as much as I can!   I will start a new topic, but you can answer here if you want. How do you rate Superlux HD668B over mentioned KOSS models for mixing?

KOSS PortaPro vs KSC75 for music production/mixing?

Ok, let's try like this. What's the actuall difference in sound between those two? I've read that what makes the difference is titanium and that creates unpleasnt noise on KSC75. On the other side, people say Portapro are way to bassy, but I assume they have more natural sound then?

KOSS PortaPro vs KSC75 for music production/mixing?

Hi everybody, I've been reading you for a while, and since I have this dilema, decided to join. :) First of all, I know there are similar PortaPro vs KSC75 threads, but I couldn't find what interests me in none of them (or just some chunks of information). Anyways, here's my problem.  ...
