Pops and clicks on USB with Corda Aria

Hi all, I get pops and clicks whenever playback starts, and then a few seconds after that through USB to the Corda Aria. Any ideas how to fix this? Thx

    How does Foobar implement replaygain?

I ask because I just added +6dB to a bunch of large files, and Foobar went ahead and re-wrote all the files! I take it Foobar doesn't simply louden the sound files themselves, but only stores metadata as to how loud the gain should be on playback?

Please recommend HIGH sensitivity phones for use with the Aria

For those following the Aria thread, I'm not really getting enough volume with my DT880s. Can anyone recommend a decent headphone that is MUCH more sensitive (I'm talking double the volume if possible, or at least a third more)?

    USB bus usage, USB DACs

Do any of you USB dac users try to keep the USB bus as clear as possible to cut down the possibility of noise? E.g. using a PS/2 mouse and keyboard instead, etc? Or is this completely a non-issue?

24 bit sound - how important?

Of these two setups... 1 - Winamp + MAD @ 24bit >>> M-audio Audiophile 192 >>> Corda Aria >>> HD650 2 - Winamp + MAD @ 16bit >>> Corda Aria (on USB) >>> HD 650 ...which do you think will yield the best sound? Decoding @ 24bits via the M-audio card, or going straight into the Aria on...

    Meier-Audio CORDA Aria

This may seem like a wild leap but why would Jan design a great sounding amp and then shove a crap DAC in at the last minute. Makes no sense. It's more likely that the DAC is actually a good match for the amp and thus a no-brainer, isn't it? Why would he deliberately defeat the sound of his own...

Have you prototype owners tried listening over USB yet to get an idea of the quality of the DAC? I plan on buying this and going from... USB > Aria > HD650
