There are SOME of the Ultrasone headphones that require Loooong burn-in but they are excellent for monitoring AND accurate listening to music. I speak from experience with my other headphones: STAX L300 with custom-designed SE valve/Lundahl output transformer driver, Beyerdynamic DT880 Pro 600...- Dan B

You should have listened. Your perception is rightfully prejudiced but still, the Form2i are exceptional headphones soundwise. I have got Audeze EL8. STAX L300 with 323, Beyerdynamic DT880 600 Ohm version, Ultrasone SIgnature DX and Pro 2900. My head_amps are Lake People G109s and Nuforce H200...- Dan B

Fully agree. People with unpleasant experience may be having that sound from Ultrasone based on not driving them properly and not giving them time to run in. They are low impedance headphones with metallic coated drivers. When driven by a headphone amp with insufficiently low impedance, the...- Dan B
