Quick question - does the player start up incredibly quickly, or is there a fault with mine? When I power down and the player seems to shut down, pressing any button immediately brings the screen to live, with no loading or creating library at all.

Well mine have gone back and am waiting for a reply from the retailer about a replacement or refund - I really like how they sound but at this price they should be a quality product

Being in the uk, I'd give Cosmic Ears a look. Based in Sweden it does pose as much VAT and customs for delivery, and the prices are very competitive. I've ordered my first CIEM from them last month after waiting for over 3 years! They have hybrid models too which may suit your bass needs! Good...

I would try another, although aren't the impressions a soft pliable material as apposed to the hard acyrillic of ciem? Could that explain the better fit?

They have gone up in price since the thread started, that's not the fault of the OP. also, you need to put the current prices in perpespective - comparable CIEMs are more than double or 3 times these prices.

^ Hi - you've mentioned the BA 2 and 4 but not the 3 - just wondered what lead you to that conclusion? I prefer a flat sound, and was going for the BA4 but have considered the 3 due to being slightly cheaper (plus I'm going to go for the HY5 later in the year as I'm drawn to having a hybrid!)
