What can I say about this headphone that hasn't been said? I just know that all the stupid things about it - the cable with stupid resistance, the non-replaceable pads, the strange headband, the fact that they probably aren't making it any more - all of those things just fade away when you put them on.   They're accurate. Sure, not totally accurate - not like my K550s or HD598s - but an accurate that adds enough excitement to make good music fun. Isn't that what this is all about? I had Mad Dogs for a while, and have nothing but love and respect...

I've searched for a long time now for a pair of phones that do it all. These do. They have tank-like build with little complexity, and the sound is amazing. Big soundstage with accurate placement.   For acoustic tracks, this headphone absolutely nails it. Like being there. The electronic tracks sound amazing as well - tight, controlled bass, rich mids, and detailed highs WITHOUT sibilance, something  to which I'm very sensitive. The Beatles sound rich and full, and I can hear every breath and sniff.   I can't find a thing wrong with them...

Oh my. If this is how beyerdynamics builds their stuff, then I WANT MORE.   These are the perfect complimentary 'phone to my Sennheiser Momentums. Both are built like tanks, but the sound qualities are so different. Where the Momentum is warm and forgiving, the DT1350 is cold and analytical. Where the Momentums are mid-centric, these are flat. Where the Momentums have character (good character), these are robots.   This is the best analogy: the Momentum is Kirk, and the DT1350 is Spock.   I am a scientist, and love quantitative data to...

This headphone is simply amazing.   I'm new to these forums, and new to purchasing my own awesome cans (have had Bose OE, V-Moda Crossfade, Klipsch Custom 1 IEM, Sennheiser HD280, Grado SR-80i, and more). I've used other people's great gear - HD800s, Stax something-or-others, and tube amps galore - for a long time as a professional musician. Now I'm a teacher and looking for a good, accurate, comfy set of cans I can use with my MacBook air and Fiio E17. I listen to a very eclectic mix of music - classic rock, modern pop and R&B, blues, jazz...
