The weight on these is ok as long as you don't move your head. If you start to move your head from left to right you immediately feel how heavy they are. I really hope they will come with a slimmer version in the future.

Looks very nice and understated

I would look at a good copper headphone cable to smooth out the harsh frequencies.

I tried the Dan Clark AEON 2 and found them more comfortable than all Focal headphones I tried (Focal Clear & Elegia). I think there're also a bit lighter.

I would also look at the Neumann NDH 30. Very comfortable with good imaging and neutral tuning.

I personally find the Hifiman headphones very comfortable, so I would go for the Hifiman. Build quality is ok.

Which batteries did you get?

I use crossfeed if I want my headphone to sound a bit more like stereo speakers. It can be nice sometimes.
