Best sub $300 truly wireless earbuds?
Just an update about the Senn Momentums. Got them for X-mas. I'm very pleasantly surprised. They sound very good. Good low end with decent impact, clear and neutral mids/highs. Maybe a little rolled off. I've only listened to two other true wireless earbuds: Airpods pro and HiFiMan...- CyberBob845

Best sub $300 truly wireless earbuds?
The connectivity issues of the Momentums do concern me. Another hit against them is what I've heard of the call quality. I ordered a pair for myself (X-mas present). I'm hoping the sound quality will make the juice worth the squeeze, but if they have those horrible connectivity problems...- CyberBob845

Amazon Music HD
I don't think this counts as a 'source', but I've subscribed to Amazon music HD for the last month or so, and I have to say, it's actually decent. The convenience and selection are tremendous. The audio quality is noticeably better than non-HD, but I'd say it's not quite as good as lossless...- CyberBob845

How about the Sony WF-1000XM3? I've been debating on these vs the Momentums quite agonizingly...- CyberBob845

How do you weed through reviews to find the "right" choice in IEM/headphones?
IME, this is an extremely relevant, and difficult, question for any high(er) end audio gear. Sound is so subjective. I've had the best luck 1) Listening to as much stuff as I can and 2) Establishing a baseline with reviewers. Meaning, someone who likes the same (or similar) gear as you, has...- CyberBob845

Sennheiser IE80 vs Chi-Fi
I don't have direct experience with the brands/models you reference, but I've purchased chi-fi IEM's, and other chi-fi audio gear. In general, I do feel like they can be on par with the things they copied. However, I've found two things about chi-fi products. First, they have extremely poor...- CyberBob845

$200 open-backs?
Yes, I mean the 702’s. I’m not sure about the exact differences between those and the Massdrip ones. I think the forums replete with comparisons. I’d imagine the B-stocks are returns, floor models, etc.- CyberBob845

$200 open-backs?
Given your priorities, I'd go with the AKG's. Also, do not hesitate to go with the non-massdrop versions either. For their pricepoint, the AKG's have great clarity and image very well.- CyberBob845

Input please HifiMan 400i vs Massdrop 4xx vs ATH-M50x
I couldn't imagine using 400's or 4xx's on a bus. They do bleed like crazy, especially at the volumes you will need to hear over the ambient noise. Would you consider IEM's???- CyberBob845

Official Sony WF-1000XM3 Thread - Noise Cancelling True Wireless Earphones
I apologize if this has been discussed; I admit I have not exhaustively read this entire thread. What are people's thoughts of these vs the HiFiMan TWS600? I currently have those, but they've been problematic. They do not pair consistently, are lacking in bass, and depend heavily on the type...- CyberBob845
