Just an update about the Senn Momentums. Got them for X-mas. I'm very pleasantly surprised. They sound very good. Good low end with decent impact, clear and neutral mids/highs. Maybe a little rolled off. I've only listened to two other true wireless earbuds: Airpods pro and HiFiMan...

The connectivity issues of the Momentums do concern me. Another hit against them is what I've heard of the call quality. I ordered a pair for myself (X-mas present). I'm hoping the sound quality will make the juice worth the squeeze, but if they have those horrible connectivity problems...

I don't think this counts as a 'source', but I've subscribed to Amazon music HD for the last month or so, and I have to say, it's actually decent. The convenience and selection are tremendous. The audio quality is noticeably better than non-HD, but I'd say it's not quite as good as lossless...

How about the Sony WF-1000XM3? I've been debating on these vs the Momentums quite agonizingly...

Yes, I mean the 702’s. I’m not sure about the exact differences between those and the Massdrip ones. I think the forums replete with comparisons. I’d imagine the B-stocks are returns, floor models, etc.

Given your priorities, I'd go with the AKG's. Also, do not hesitate to go with the non-massdrop versions either. For their pricepoint, the AKG's have great clarity and image very well.

How about a Schiit setup?

I couldn't imagine using 400's or 4xx's on a bus. They do bleed like crazy, especially at the volumes you will need to hear over the ambient noise. Would you consider IEM's???
