  Yeah I am not going to sell the 430HA unless I feel the DAVE does everything as good or better. I've already heard that having the 430HA with the DAVE does make an amazing pair so I probably won't sell it. I really do wish the 430HA had balanced outputs for monitors too! I might just buy RCA...

I have both the Moon Neo 430HA and the GSX-MKII and both are fantastic amps no doubt. Id have to give the nod to the MOON of the 2 simply because it adds a bit more power, tone, and tiny bit of warmth (to my ears at least. Others say it is dead neutral). The Headamp is a bit lean in comparison...

I feel that the Audeze LCD-2 would be a fantastic headphone for what you are describing. I am the same way with the treble frequencies and all LCD headphones do great with keeping them very controlled from being harsh on the ears. I also really like the HD650's because of their amazing tone but...

Thank you for your thoughts! That's pretty impressive of the DAVE if there is a loss of transparency through the 430 as I thought the 430 was amazing in terms of transparency. That intimacy does sound like something I can't wait to hear.

I have heard some great things about Westone in how comfortable the are. I'd imagine the Shores are better sounding for the same price point but not completely sure.

Hi jlbrach, do you feel that the LCD-4 is being powered to its full abilities with the DAVE or you you feel that the extra power from the 430HA powers them better (say with DAVE as the DAC and the 430HA as the amp)? Just curious because I just ordered the DAVE and not sure if selling the 430HA...
