    I think a few month ago some people where afraid that the K701 lacks bass. Maybe they where just guessing and had the 501 in mind I also own the Ultrasone PL750 and it has much bass which I like very much. So at the beginning I also had the fear that I would miss something with the K701...

    Thanks so far for all your replies. So in the case of "driver matching" this means that the production process can not assure the high level of quality needed. Do you know if "driver matching" is a technical or manual (by hearing) process?
