Chord Hugo Vs Mojo - Impressions
Mojo works well both as a portable and dedicated desktop DAC. I run a combination of apple lossless and higher bit rate files and sure you will be really happy with a Mojo. Or, you would be really happy with a Hugo.- craigk49

Oppo PM-3 : The Portable Planar - Impressions
It looks interesting. Which model? More importantly share about how it has effected the sound quality? Finally, I'm in the US, so what about shipping times and currency exchange? I see they take PayPal, so exchange rate is controlled by PayPal.- craigk49

Oppo PM-3 : The Portable Planar - Impressions
I just ordered a custom version of their PM-3 Cardas cable.. https://www.dysonaudio.com I sent them a question from their web page form and got a response within 5 minutes. Maybe I got lucky as it is a one man operation. They also have a universal silver cable that has to have different...- craigk49

What's the best USB audio cable for the money?
The proof is in the pudding. The only way to proove your belief as to whether there is an audible difference is to put one in your system and listen. Incredibly easy to do with minimal risk. Buy something like a Wireworld Starlight 7 on Amazon. Put it in your system and listen. You will have...- craigk49

Best System Synergy For CHORD MOJO (and possibly Hugo) - AMP/SPEAKERS/HEADPHONES
I have been running a pair of Tannoy Reveal 402's with a Meridian Explorer (v1) on a MacBook Pro. Initially, I wanted to add the speakers as an inexpensive alternate to headphones when I wasn't sitting at my desk. I didn't have high expectations and thought I would eventually add a sub since the...- craigk49

Point me in the direction of a good portable (or semi) power amplifier to match my kit.
A question about the M8. It is a combo amp & dad, right? I'n thinking that I would prefer a pure amp since the Meridian Audio Director is a USB DAC that does not have an amp. Some of the cost of producing the M8 is parts & labor to include the DAC. Do they make a straight up amp comparable to...- craigk49

Point me in the direction of a good portable (or semi) power amplifier to match my kit.
Good question. I would probably limit it to roughly equal to the Meridian Audio Director which retails for $700.00. I might go as high as $1,000 if the additional $300 made a substantial improvement over what a $700 amp can do.- craigk49

Need help purchasing a great set of can driven only by iPod/iPad
If you would consider in-ear headphones, your requirements match up pretty good with with NAD HD20 headphones. I just bought a pair and they are really good for the money. They do sound better when the upstream equipment improves. But, they would be easy to live with using the iPhone for a long...- craigk49

Point me in the direction of a good portable (or semi) power amplifier to match my kit.
Hello Forum! New member and my first post. So, my work requires frequent travel which means I am feathered to portable audio. Currently, my kit is based on a 2013 Retinal Macbook Pro. I use iTunes to manage the library and Pure Music to upsample data headed out to a Meridian Explorer...- craigk49
