Besides new FiiO Music App, whats the difference between this firmware and 1.0.7JP firmware that i have like from months now? I mean is there is a legit need of this new firmware if I like current one, meaning JP version?

FiiO Q5, Flagship DAC/Amp, an Dual DAC, USB/Optical/Coaxial/Line in, share the same amp module with X7.

And where I can find micro to micro cable? Besides DIY operation I mean. Didn't FiiO had one some time ago? Any future releases of L-shaped like this new usb-c to micro? @FiiO, pretty please?

If any of you got problems with connecting Bluetooth devices to your computers after upgrading Q5 Bluetooth to newer version this is especially for you. I have a simple BT dongle to pair it with my XOne Pad. In Device Manager it is called CSR8510 A10. After upgrading the Q5 BT I couldn't...

    FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out

Just after X7 Mk2 arrived, I quickly connected it to Meze 99 Classics, bal output. Then removed card from old X7 and inserted into new X7. AM3A sounded dim, lazy, and almost cheap, no vibrant highs, no details, as I was accustomed to old X7. Then I thought: whelp, maybe you need to give it time...

You can downgrade to 1.0.0 version with tools provided somewhere in this topic earlier, and then to version you want - manually, without enabling wi-fi of course.

Damn, so many smart words from math, electronic and other domains. As in general I do not need the exact principles and inner works of that subject, thank you mrmoto050 for the info :). What I asked was rather what are those filters for in DACs specifically? What are they do? And most of all...

I envy you guys a little. You who have your own Mk II. I'm still waiting for my preorder here in Poland. But aside that, I have a little noob'ish question, not maybe related exclusively for X7 Mk II, but in general. I would like to ask for a reason for digital filters on DAC's like in X7-2...

    FiiO X7 | DXD | DSD | 384K/64B | ESS9018+ Android | WiFi | Bluetooth | 4 AMP modules | Balanced Out |

Hey, I'm working on exact same setup right now: X7 in K5 Front - Meze99 Classics Rear - some old (not so crappy sounding) Logitech 2.1 No problem with 2 outputs working together. So you don't need to disconnect anything to work with it seamlessly. Hope that clears your worries xD.

Don't get me wrong, but FiiO is not our slave to do exactly as we say. If that was the case, company would simply bankrupt. So please don't say such unpleasant things and be grateful that they want to do things that are normal in other players/DAPs. Album cover on lock screen plus normal buttons...

Known bugs/issues with latest X7 firmware

I'm using X7 a lot with K5 docking station and I remember that FiiO said the when X7 is docked in K5 it can be powered on and off by K5. While powering X7 on is working, the powering X7 off is not working. When X7 is working and docked in K5. when I turn the volume/power knob max to the left to...

Hey, I'm back with "magick" X7 who sniffs all the waves an vibes in the world.   As we were talking about some tests I made a couple. Also worth mentioning, my daily basis headphones for music are Meze 99 Classics with In-line remote on the cable.   -X7 has enabled [In-line remote] but it's...

We have a something like RFID cards to open our doors. Just getting it near reader opens the lock. And I think you're right about electromagnet lock. In the video X7 stops playing a very little just before the door is open and that is just when electromagnet lock is engaged.

Yeah, I checked right now and [In-line Remote] is checked in options. Also like I said earlier, I can't reproduce this behavior at home, at least I don't know how, what tools to use xD. Only places I know it's happening is metro while moving generally and at work. I will try to make some test...
